About The Place

The home (3B1B) was built in 1972, but renovated recently with new flooring, paint, roof, appliances, etc. The room available faces the street furnished with a full-size bed and side tables, and a built-in closet. There is 1 full-bathroom shared between us, and the 3rd bedroom has been converted into an office; a spare desk is available if needed. The garage can fit a small sedan, but I like to keep it free to work on projects; the driveway can fit 2-cars comfortably. There's in-floor heating (gas) and cooling, 1 GB/s fiber connection, and trash/recycling service every Wednesday morning. The backyard is fully fenced in (perfect for a small dog!).

About Me

I'm a 23-year-old 2nd-year graduate student at UIUC studying ECE. I'll be graduating in December with my MS in ECE. My girlfriend recently moved cross-country for work, so I've got an open room available for a non-female roommate. Given the start of the semester (Aug 24th), I'm open to earlier move-in dates on a case-by-case basis.

I usually get home between 5:00 – 7:00 PM, and spend my evenings watching shows/anime or tinkering in the garage. I'm hoping to find someone to help split the costs of this cozy home until I graduate (open to extending!).

Rules & Expectations

• Substances: No drugs or smoking (alcohol is fine, especially whiskey!).
• Noise: Be respectful with noise; we are both entitled to restful sleep.
• Cleanliness: Be reasonably clean. Pick up after yourself, do your dishes, etc.
• Guests: If inviting people/friends over, just let me know. It's a courtesy that I'll extend to you as well.
• Pets: Pets are fine, but just be sure to clean up after them (preference for cats/smaller animals).
